Large knit tubes of jute twine serve as volumetric projection screens for an interactive animation, titled Entoptics. This animation is based on entoptic phenomena, the visual effects that are produced in the eye itself. The forms in the animation are taken from floaters, blue fields, Haidinger's brush, and Purkinje trees. The projection is masked and aligned with the tubes so that light falls only on the forms, not on their surroundings.
